Mou-Tseng Chen's Obituary
Mou-Tseng Chen, 67, passed away on September 7, 2014 at home after a long battle with cancer. The same determination, spirit of heart and mind, generosity, along with his stubbornness that characterized his personality throughout his life would serve him well during his fight with cancer.Born in Taipei, Taiwan into an extended family to Huo-Tu Chen and Hung-Zhi Chen, he spent his formative and young adult life in Taiwan before migrating to the Tulsa where he would spend the next 34 years. Until his retirement in 2008, he was the beloved owner of the Royal Dragon Restaurant; serving and befriending multiple generations of families that frequented the establishment.Mou-Tseng is survived by his wife, Li; his daughter, Karen; his son, Erick; brothers, Fu-Zun and Mu-Fa; sister, Hsiao Chen; uncle, Fu Hsiung, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.A private memorial service will be held to celebrate his life will be held this weekend.
