Myrtle B. Chambers' Obituary
Precious memories of the life of Myrtle B. Chambers A beautiful baby girl was born on June 1st, 1931 in Paris, Arkansas to King and Marie Brown. They named her Myrtle Bernice. She grew up and received her education in Gilmore, Arkansas. She met and married Booker T. Chambers. To that Union 13 children were born. Myrtle accepted Christ at an early age, moved Oklahoma and became a resident of Buford Colony as well as faithful member of Buford Colony Church of God in Christ until her health began to fail at which time she moved to Topeka, Kansas to be close to and cared for by some of her daughter’s. Myrtle loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. On April 7th, 2009, surrounded by her family the Lord saw fit to send his angels to escort her to her Heavenly home. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, one son Bobby Joe, nine Brothers, Wallace, Leon, Bruce (L.B.), Lee Earl, Louis, King Jr., Horace Chester, Arthur (Bud), Herschel Ray and Bobby along with numerous Aunts and Uncles. Remaining to cherish her memory are six sons, Booker T. and wife Ruby, Robert and wife Patricia, Samuel Donnell and wife Robin and David All of Tulsa. Steve and wife Gwen of Dallas, Texas, Byron and wife Tanja of Arlington, Texas. Six daughters; Linda, Brenda and Hannah all of Topeka, Kansas. Diane of Houston, Texas, Rochelle and Kenyatta of Tulsa. Four Sisters, Melinda, Leota and husband Edward, Rose and husband Alvin, Stella and husband Herbert. One brother, Orlis and wife Edna. Forty-Five grandchildren and Eighty great-grandchildren. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends who love her and will miss her very much.
