Nancy J Fultner's Obituary
Nancy Jean (Clarke) Fultner, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and lifelong servant to her community and faith, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 28, 2025, at the age of 86.
Nancy was born on July 28, 1938, in Yale, Oklahoma to Fred Herman Clarke and Jewell Ann (Elrod) Clarke. She was their second child and beloved daughter. She was born and raised in Tulsa and graduated from Will Rogers High School.
Nancy's roots traced back to a proud Texas family heritage, and she spent many summers in North Texas with family. Some of her fondest memories came from time spent on the water at Lake Texoma, Lake Eufaula, Grand and Tenkiller Lakes, surrounded by family, fun, and laughter. Her main hobby included fishing off the family dock and out-fishing everyone.
Nancy held several jobs during her early working years, but she spent the majority of her career at McDonnell Douglas, later Boeing, in Tulsa. There, she contributed meaningfully to Oklahoma’s aerospace and manufacturing community and was known by her colleagues for her reliability and strong work ethic. She held the honor of being recognized as a Douglas Secretarial VIP for her devotion to her six departments, 250 staff, and her two bosses, the Directors of Flight Operations and Aircraft System Operations.
She was most proud of one particular accomplishment, however—while at Douglas, she met the love of her life, Thomas "Tom" Fultner. They were married in 1968 and shared 56 wonderful years of marriage built on love, faith, and family. Together they raised three children and were later blessed with three grandsons and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Nancy was deeply committed to her faith and community. Her life was a true testament to generosity, humility, and quiet strength. She was a model mother and wife, known for her kindness, patience, and selflessness. As Proverbs 31:28–29 reminds us: "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.'"
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Jewell Clarke; her beloved husband, Tom Fultner; her brother, Phil Clarke; her sister-in-law, Nila Jones Clarke; and son-in-law, Mike Keller.
Nancy’s proudest legacy is her family. She is survived by her three children:
Christy Miller (and husband Russell) of Park Hill, OK
Caren Keller of Mannford, OK
Craig Fultner of Corinth, TX
She is also survived by her three grandsons and their families:
Jason Greiner (and wife Lauren) of Wylie, TX
Chance Fultner (and fiancée Ashley) of Oshkosh, WI
Seth Keller (and wife Jackie) of Cushing, OK
She leaves behind thirteen great-grandchildren, each a reflection of her enduring love, strength, and kindness, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. A celebration of life service will follow on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., also at Floral Haven, with interment immediately following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
