Nancy T Hamilton's Obituary
Nancy Todd Hamilton Nancy Todd Hamilton slipped away peacefully at Saint Francis Hospital on January 21, 2012 after a brief illness. Nancy was born on October 31, 1929 in Independence, Kansas to Constance and Earl Todd. She graduated from Independence High School and attended The University of Wyoming, TSCW, and The University of Kansas. She married William J. Hamilton on October 13, 1950, who preceded her in death in November 1984. Nancy was an avid seamstress and enjoyed knitting and many other crafts. During the 1980s, she volunteered as a seamstress for The Tulsa Ballet and enjoyed playing competitive bridge. She loved sewing for her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters Patricia Todd and Mary Blanche Cavert; brothers William and Edward Todd and niece, Kathleen Cavert. She is survived by her four children: Pam Crandall (Don), Todd Hamilton, Julia Hamilton and Elizabeth Isam (Brian). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Corey Crandall (Jeanna); Benjamin Hamilton; William Hamilton; Jordan Crandall; Jocelyn Spaulding (Brandon); Mallory Lacey and Blayne Isam, one-great grandchild, Aiden Spaulding; brother, Thomas Todd (Becky) and nephews Thomas (Lisa), Kenneth (Salit), and Robert (Melanie) Todd. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas.
