King-Jumper, Nancy Caroline's Obituary
Nancy King-Jumper, blessed this world with her presence on November 14, 1937 in McKees Rocks, PA. She entered Heaven’s gates on July 29, 2024, in Broken Arrow, OK. She is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and volunteer. Nancy dedicated 25 years of her life to grief recovery support at Floral Haven, where her compassionate presence and comforting hugs made a profound impact on many.
Nancy was a woman of remarkable kindness and generosity. She was beautiful inside and out. She was known for her vibrant spirit, always sharing joy and love with everyone she met, and of course a lasting hug. Her passion for teaching and assisting in Bible school reflected her deep faith and commitment to nurturing the next generation. Nancy’s genuine warmth and enthusiasm were evident in the way she would high-five children during her trips to the grocery store with her husband Ray.
She is survived by her devoted husband Ray Jumper; her children Kevin King and his wife Lisa, Keith King and his wife Dawna; cherished grandchildren Kristin King, Brittany Duarte and her husband Alberto, Stacie King and her wife Aubrey, Melissa Cook and her husband Eric and Steven Cowan. She also leaves behind her siblings Mike and Bill Cherry, as well as nine great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her late husband Harry Dale King, parents Alexander and Mary Margaret Cherry, her grandson Korey King, and her brothers Alex and David Cherry.
Nancy’s legacy of love, kindness, and service will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
A visitation will take place on Thursday August 8, 2024 from 1PM-7PM. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10:00AM at the Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. An interment will take place at a later date.
