Nancy Ruth Reed's Obituary
Nancy Ruth Reed, 71, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on July 27, 2024. Nancy was born on August 17, 1952, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to father Floyd Wolf and mother Clela Wolf. Throughout her life, Nancy committed herself to her faith and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Nancy enjoyed traveling and exploring her Cherokee heritage, antique shopping, writing inspirational memoirs, and pursuing education.
Nancy proudly earned several degrees including a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management & Ethics from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Liberty University, Master of Arts from the University of Oklahoma, and completed all coursework towards a doctoral degree achievement.
Nancy was preceded in death by father Floyd Wolf, mother Clela Wolf, and brother John Floyd Wolf. Nancy is survived by her husband, Michael Reed; son, Andrew Lonon; stepdaughters, Tracy Bell and spouse, Roderick Bell, Crissa McMahan and spouse, Jason McMahan, and Kimberly Perez; two brothers, David and Danny Wolf; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, at Floral Haven Funeral Home: 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
A funeral service to honor the life of Nancy will follow at 12:30 PM, Friday, August 2, 2024, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, located at 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, with Pastor Mike Corbin officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM, immediately after conclusion of the chapel service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in the Masonic Garden.
Anyone wishing to send flowers for the service may do so by calling Floral Designs by Floral Haven at (918) 459-1525. Any independent florists may deliver flowers directly to Floral Haven Funeral Home by 11:45 AM on Friday, August 2, 2024, , in order for them to be set out and properly displayed in a timely manner for Nancy's services.
A reception will be held once the grave committal concludes from 1:45 PM – 3:45 PM at Floral Haven’s Family Center. Nancy's family would like to warmly extend an invitation to anyone wishing to attend the reception in order to continue in fellowship and in the sharing of memories. The Floral Haven Family Center is also located at Floral Havel Funeral Home, 6420 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
