Nancy Ruth Smith's Obituary
Nancy Ruth Smith, 61 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in a Tulsa hospital. She was born December 8, 1959 in Brinkley, Arkansas to her parents, Talmage Vernon Suggett and Freeda Lorena Camp Suggett.
Nancy never met a stranger. She touched the hearts and lives of everyone she came in contact with.
Her greatest desire was to put love out into the world. She poured her heart and soul and every ounce of love she had into everyone she knew. She radiated with kindness and joy, and she shared that light with all of us.
The world may seem dimmer without her in it, but let us all take that beautiful spark of light she gave us, multiply it, and continue spreading all that love into the world.
Nancy is survived by her one daughter, Gina Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; eight siblings, Sue McColley and her husband David of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pat Chapman of Biscoe, Arkansas, Rev. Leon Suggett and his wife Rinnae of San Antonio, Texas, Bishop Talmage Vernon Suggett, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Martinsville, Indiana, Brenda Collins and her husband Tom of Gravelridge, Arkansas, Kathy Arterburn of Oceanside, California, Jeannie Crawford and her husband Daniel of Oologah, Oklahoma and Debbie Vanderpool and her husband Steve of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; husband of 30 years, Lawrence Edward Smith, Jr.; partner of 10 years, Bryan Keith Jones; dozens of nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends; She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 1 - 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at Owasso Pentecostal Church. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
