Nancy Colette Trout Frame's Obituary
Nancy Colette Trout Frame, age 80 of Bixby, Ok, graduated to heaven surrounded by her family, on Friday, May 13th, 2016. She was born to the late Elmer Trout and Oleta Johnson Trout In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 7th, 1936. Nancy attended Capitol Hill High school and received many awards and recognitions. Nancy accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior early in life and was active in The Young Life christian organization and supported the organization the rest of her life. She attended Oklahoma University, where she helped to charter and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She was married to Webber Norman Frame February 24th, 1959. They had two children, Tracy Lynn Frame Marino, now of Bixby, Oklahoma and the late Scott Norman Frame. The family resided in Ada, Oklahoma starting in 1964. Nancy was very active in the community. She taught Sunday school at The First Christian Church and assisted in youth choir. She was also a CampFIre leader. She was an Elementary school teacher before she became a Petroleum Landmanager in later years. Nancy was elected to be the youngest State Regent of The Daughters of the American Revolution and was an avid genealogist that remained a hobby and service for the rest of her life. Nancy was selected Woman of the Year and was appointed by the Governor of Oklahoma to head the 1976 bi-centennial celebration and represented Oklahoma in Washington D.C. She was active on many community boards and social committees. Her family was involved in summer theatre, “Tiger Tangles”(East Central University), and “Ada Antics”. She worked for several years as an alum to Charter a chapter of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority on the campus of East Central University and received her 50 year pin a few years ago. Nancy moved to Bixby, Oklahoma later in years to be near her family. Nancy always stated that her most valuable accomplishments were her children Tracy and Scott and her granddaughters Tara Colette Marino Richardson and Megan Elizabeth Marino. She was very happy to have three great granddaughters by Tara and Jeremy Richardson, Abigail, Adalyn and Annabelle. Nancy is survived by her daughter Tracy Marino of Bixby, Ok, her granddaughters Tara Richardson and Megan Marino, son-in-law Jeremy Richardson and her three great granddaughters. By Nancy’s request there will be a family graveside service at Floral Haven Cemetery at 10:00 am, Monday, May 16th, 2016 , her son-in law Reverend Jeremy Richardson will be officiating. A Memorial service will be held directly after at the home of her daughter Tracy Marino.
