Nancy Watson's Obituary
NANCY ELOISE WATSON, (86), of Broken Arrow, OK, went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2026 at home surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. She was born January 31, 1939 in Tulsa, OK to Roger Clay Haney and Anna Leona (Johnson) Haney. Nancy was the oldest of five children and treasured her siblings.
She attended Tulsa Central High School and Oklahoma School of Business. Her career was in customer service for 20 years with the majority of her time being at American Airlines.
Nancy had a fascinating life, living in Tripoli, Libya as well as the United States. She enjoyed traveling and the outdoors. Nancy was a talented musician playing the piano and violin. She enjoyed painting, drawing, music, cooking and playing pickleball. She had an active lifestyle.
Her gift of hospitality was felt by her family and friends when she would entertain. Her humor and quick banter brought laughter to those around her. She had a warmth that made people feel at ease, a kindness that lingered, and a playful spirit that made every moment brighter.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore Irving Sullivan, Jr; grandson, Drennen Michael Duel; and infant brother, Randy Gene Baker.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James Clayton Watson, of the home; two daughters, Cynthia Frances Duel and husband Mike of Memphis, TN and Nancy Annette Wilson and husband Raymond of Bixby, OK; grandchildren, Sullivan Duel, Joshua Duel and Raymond Wilson, Jr.; brother, Rogers Haney and wife Cheryl of Orlando, FL; Sisters, Leta Arnett and husband, Mac of Tulsa, OK and Sue Morgan of Dallas, TX; and a host of cousins, family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nancy’s name to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (https://IFCJ.org).
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8th, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
