I met Nancy in 1979. She was a sweet lady, kept a perfect home, orderly but cozy and was a great cook. She loved her family and pets dearly and always wanted what was best for them. She was an upright Christian, a role model and attended a Baptist church in Tulsa frequently. She always had a copy of Guidepost magazine in her bathroom to read. When I lived so far away, she sent me photos of her and Bob, her children and grandchildren along with humorous quips about each picture, or some favorite recipe that she had discovered, or better yet, one her grandmother had made. She also sent me bible verses and Christian bookmarks, stories of faith in God, and one gift was a necklace with a mustard seed in the pennant. The story of having as much faith as a mustard seed was inside the tiny jewelry box. I kept that story inside of me and have passed it along to others along life's journey. Nancy, I will miss you and I know you are with Jesus now. You did a fine job as a witness of the Gospel with all its power to proclaim hope amidst the horror of sin and death. Praise God that you entered my life, Nancy. Praise God!
