Nancy Nell Willis' Obituary
Nancy Nell Willis was born on September 30,1941 in Columbus, Kansas to William Braxton
Edmondson and Mary Angeline Fast Edmondson. She passed from this life on March 15th,
2025, in Tulsa OK at the age of 83 years 5 months & 15 days after a brave fight against
leukemia.
Nancy was a beloved member of the Broken Arrow Community. She truly had a servants’
heart and never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She married the love of her life, Daniel Albert Willis on February 14th 1965 in Chetopa,
Kansas. She will be losing her keys until he meets at heavens gates. Nancy was preceded in
death by both parents and sister Hope Jinks and beloved grandfather Albert Fast.
Nancy is survived by husband Dan, children Maria Lane Zane and husband John Zane of
Broken Arrow, OK & Sean and Haven Willis of Broken Arrow, OK. Five grandchildren, Nicole
and Dustin Richerson of Bristow OK. Morgan Page Willis of Grayslake, Illinois. Clinton and
Mazie Jackson of Wainwright, OK. Luke Willis of Austin, Texas. Mallory and Marvelous Oben
of Oklahoma City, OK. Two great grandchildren Daniel Cain Clay Richerson and Ryian Marie
Richerson.

Leroy Jeske Clinton Jackson Luke Willis and Cain Clay.
Accomplishments
Attended Chetopa School through Freshmen year graduated from Coeyville Memorial
High School.
Graduated from Bartlesville School of Cosmetology. Licensed in both Oklahoma and
Kansas.
Served with Dr. Garner on committee for Camp Bandage
Passed national exam and received license as Certified Medical Assistant
Member of the Tulsa Chapters of the National AAMA Serving as President for the local
chapter and elected as state Chaplin serving two years.
Retired after 40 years working most of those years at Family Medicine & Associate
alongside Dr. Leroy Jeske
Favorite Things & Blessings
Being married to the love of her life and beautiful family they made
Having two great children, being a “soccer mom” and attending many rodeos to watch her
daughter Lanie, being involved in FFA with there children and the many animals that they
brought home.
She believed it was a privilege to teach children about our lord and savior for more than 40
years.
Being able to enjoy her 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and being a part of all
their activities as they grew up
Having the honor of helping deliver 2 of her grandchildren. To see them take their first
breath. Later to lead them both to the lord and watch them being baptized.
Being a part of Hospice Ministry’s with Chaplin Randy Shaddox.
All the great kids she taught throughout the years. She loved them more than they could
ever know.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, March 21, 2024, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow.
