NANCY B ZUBER, a Cherokee Citizen born August 5, 1923 In Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Rae Zuber and Peggy Zuber; nieces, Pam Carter, Susan Miller and Brenda Bobbitt; nephew, Patrick Nalon; daughter in law, Barbara Clark-Zuber; longtime friends; Pam Binam Shirley Weathers to name a few. Nancy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Laura and Jess Cowart; sisters, Juanita Nalon and her husband, Duke Nalon, Alta Carter and her husband, Jay Carter, nephew, Jay Jr. Carter and mother in-law, Martha Zuber.Mom, The World Traveler, traveled to Japan, Europe, UK and Scotland, Caribbean and of course Mexico. She loved Puerto Vallarta London and San Francisco. She was always ready for a trip, in fact the few days she was in a nursing home, she told the personnel there to check on her flight as she didn’t want to miss it. You will hear the Mexican music throughout this service. Mom’s middle name was “GO”. As a child I was educated by learning about the different cultures such as Haiti, Mexico and France and many more. Mom was a Proud Cherokee Citizen and also Proud of having a military family. She had worked for the US Navy as a Civilian and married Ray Zuber- who served and retired US NAVY and had a daughter that also served in the US Navy and retired US Army. Mom loved Coney Island and Mexican food. She also ran ten years in the Tulsa Run. Mom worked for the US Navy and American Airlines. She has had many Cats and a few Dogs but her love for Tiger Lilly the smartest in the world, was strong. Mom grew up in the Salvation Army with parents that were life time Soldiers. She is very proud to be a part of the Midway Full Gospel Church as a member over ten years, this church has been a family for her and she loves the fellowship and the music. Life is short so make the most out of what you love. God Bless everyone. The Zubers Memorial Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Midway Full Gospel Church
