His creative talents extended to building a wooden Merry Wherry boat from scratch and crafting an intricate tile mosaic on the front porch of his home. He took great pleasure in creating beautiful flower gardens, a labor of love for his wife, Linda, where they planted roses at their homes.
Jerry was deeply committed to his family, always ready to lend a hand to friends and neighbors with their projects. He actively participated in the Band Boosters to support his daughter and coached youth soccer for his son. He and Linda were always in the stands at half-time or on the sidelines at soccer games and later in life, loved supporting their grandchildren in their endeavors.

Jerry had a deep love for the outdoors and treasured time spent with family, friends, and pets. His soft spot for animals, especially horses and dogs, and his ability to make children laugh, endeared him to many. He will be remembered not only for his many achievements but also for the love and joy he brought to those around him.
