Nelda Rae (Bradshaw-Brown) Lucas Born December 19, 1926 Died February 14, 2013 at the age of 86 In Claremore, OklahomaNelda married Archie Truman Brown and this union brought them three Children: LaDonna Lewis, husband Chet, Gerald Brown, wife Angie, and Gary Brown, wife Linda.Nelda worked beside her husband everyday farming and ranching on 500 acres. After the family worked several years on the farm, they started a family business: Brown's D-X and Grocery on Highway 33 in the Catoosa area. She again worked beside her husband 364 ½ days a year. After Archie's passing in 1968 she was employed by Zebco Co. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nelda married Woodrow (Woody) Lucas. They had many wonderful years together.Nelda was a wonderful, loving, and caring wife, Mom, Grandmother, and Nana. She was always preparing delicious meals and yummy pies. She loved playing dominoes, cards, ballroom dancing, working in her flowerbeds, loved to shop til she dropped, traveling and later in life pulling that darn crabgrass and chickweed out of her yard.Survivors include: Her children LaDonna, Gerald, and Gary Step-children Dale Lucas and Carmen CarrGrandchildren Shelly Brown, Chris (Brown) Mullin, Angela Brown, Michael Lewis, Heather (Brown) Smoot, Patrick Lewis, and Brian and Erik BrownGreat-grandchildren Joshua Lewis, Hannah Smoot, Emma Smoot, Macey Lewis, Logan Lewis, Dylan Brown, Bradley Brown, Carder Lewis, Jonah Smoot, and Callie LewisSisters Jean Carlile and Lorraine ThompsonFamily that preceded her are Her parents: Roy Bradshaw and Mollie (Hemphill-Bradshaw) Noble, Aunt Marie and Uncle Barton Bradshaw, Aunt Beulah Kissling, husband Archie Brown, husband Woody Lucas, brother R.J.
