We met Neeomia and her husband, R.J. a little over 4 years ago when we became neighbors. I knew I liked her immediately. The first year, I went over to visit fairly often. As she had more health problems, I didn’t want to bother her. Neeomia was a wonderful woman who loved God and her family. She used to pick up little toys and things for my grandkids. She put others first and followed God’s greatest commandment, to love. She loved all of her flowers and plants and cared for them dearly. If she knew you and knew you were a decent person and follower of Christ, she just loved you too! We are sure going to miss you Neeomia. Knowing that we will see you again is a great source of comfort.

Dearest Welch & Pearson Families: My sincere condolences on the passing of your wife & mother and grandmother, Neomia. It is said when we lose a parent, we lose our history. That is why it is important that we remember all the stories, life lessons and advise they gave us so we can share it with our children and in that way we can keep them alive in our heart. Also, keep in mind the blessed and wonderful hope we have of seeing them again in the coming resurrection of Christ (Acts 24:15). Yes, an earthly Paradise where their will be no more sickness, old age or death. (Isaiah 33:24, Revelation 21:4). This is a promise from Almighty God who cannot lie (Titus 1:2)

Some of my favorite childhood memories were made with Neomia. I acquired a fondness for “junkin'” with Aunt Neomia in the big city of Tulsa! Fun times and precious memories of love and enjoyment ringing out in her cute little laugh and perpetual smile.
