Nettie Inez McKenzie's Obituary
Nettie Inez McKenzie was born June 22, 1929 in Valdosta, Georgia and passed away April 3, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Inez was a very active member of the Central Church of the Nazarene; and she also served as Missionary President at Thomasville Church of the Nazarene. Inez enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, gardening and antiquing. The most important thing to Inez was spending time with her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Inez is preceded in passing by her spouse, John Milton McKenzie; daughter, Rebecca Jetton and her brother, Edward Money. Inez is survived by her daughter, Kathy Douglas and her husband Rodney; son, Sean McKenzie and his wife Debbie; daughter, Lori Thompson and her husband Tim; grandchildren, Todd Jetton and his wife Sabrina, Ashley Jetton and her husband Justin Russ, Mandi Cornelius and her husband Jason, Brooke Douglas, Katie McKenzie, John McKenzie and Isaac Jetton; seven great-grandchildren; son-in-law Max Jetton and numerous other family members and freinds. There will be a viewing, Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Funeral Service will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Church of the Nazarene in Tulsa.
