Nina Vera Ward's Obituary
Vera Ward was born August 29, 1926 in Waldron, Arkansas. Her parents were Joe and Ercel Gimlin. She was the first of five children. She attended Waldron Public Schools and Cosmetology School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After earning her degree in Cosmetology, she began a career as a hairdresser. Vera married Glenn Ward. Together, they attended John Calvin Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. Vera was very motherly; loving and nurturing. She was the best cook ever! She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her Sons & Daughters in law, Mr. & Mrs. James Ward and Mr. & Mrs. Larry Ward; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
