Nita Gail Chastain's Obituary
Nita Gail Feeney Chastain was born April 9, 1956, to Wayne and Roberta Feeney in Chickasha OK. She passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 69 in Tulsa, OK Gail was raised in Tulsa, attending school and graduating from Will Rogers High School in 1974. Gail spent her younger years involved in church at Sequoyah Hills where she enjoyed singing in the choir, going on choir tours, working in the bus ministry, going to Falls Creek and spending time with her friends. Gail was filled with love and compassion, touching many lives through her love, humor, and immense heart. She married Harold Chastain 08/19/1989. and gained a daughter, Lea. Together as a family they shared 36 plus years filled with laughter and created a lifetime of special memories. Harold and Leah were so loved and special to Gail, but that is simply who she was for everyone she knew, she loved. Gail adored her grandchildren, Skye, Clark, Lexi, and Colton she could never do enough to show her love for them. That love flowed over to her nieces and nephews and of course her Mom, siblings and all her family. She was a loyal friend always and even her friend's children were considered family. Gail spent her early years working for McDonalds, which is where she met Harold, then moved on to Avis and made a full circle back to McDonalds human resource until she retired. Gail is survived by her husband, Harold Chastain, stepdaughter Lea Chastain Nance Grandchildren Skye Nance Foley (Alex), Clark, Alexandra “Lexi,” and Colton Nance, Mother, Roberta Feeney of Oilton, OK and sister, Cheryl (Clinton) Craddock of Claremore; and brother Curtis Ray (Joy) Feeney of Claremore. Gail is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many other extended family members. Gail was proceeded in death by her father, Wayne Feeney, sister, Linda Feeney Crossley, and Grandparents, Austin and Mildred Feeney and Bill and Bertha Keeler. Gail made our world a happy loving place and she occupies a special place in everyone's heart she touched, she will be solely missed.
