Nita Lorene Stewart's Obituary
Nita Lorene Stewart, age 67, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents Charles C. and Lola G. Myers. She was the first of 7 children. Nita attended her general schooling in Catoosa, Oklahoma after which she began her career as an information technology specialist. She married Stanley Alan Stewart on April 4th, 1980 at Timber Ridge Assembly of God in Catoosa, Oklahoma where they attended church. Nita loved her family; she cherished being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family every chance she could. Nita is survived by her husband, Stanley A. Stewart, her daughter and son-in-law Stephanie A. and Jonathan Southern, her granddaughter Kylan Southern, and her grandson, Nathan Southern; her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey A. and Tiffany Stewart, and her granddaughter Kathryne Stewart, her sisters, Beverly Primm, Janice Myers, Debbie Miles, and Nancy Walker, her brothers, Johnny Myers and David Myers, her brother-in-law, Roger Miles, her sister-in-laws, Theresa Myers and Billie Myers, and 15 nieces & nephews. Services are to be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Timber Ridge Assembly of God of Catoosa, Oklahoma. Visitation is to be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 12 pm to 8 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
