Happy Birthdate Mom.. I gotta admit. You have had better ones. Lets remember those. When you look down thinking surely somebody, anybody must have remembered my birthdate….. and you see nothing …..it wasn't because nobody cared, it wasn't because you werent important, it wasn't because nobody loved you. Believe it or not it was the opposite. One person loved you SO much. You were deprived of others respecting your memory. I don't remember missing many if any of them. I tried not to miss this one. You taught me a lot of things about love Mom. Some I'm not even sure you know you taught me because it was the last time I saw you. You taught me love is respect. I can't disrespect a person or their wishes and then say how much I love them. You tauht me love is caring. I can't not care about you or your wishes and love you. You taught me love is never jealous love is trust … that one has got me in trouble many times The one you never taught me Love is selfish. I'm pretty sure you didn't leave it out by mistake. Just kmow your loved and your missed by many. Today should be a great day to pay respect to the memory of a wonderful Lady. One I was lucky enough to call Mom.. Instead it's not and you get nothing. Thats not what you taught me Mom. Not even close.
