Norma Cole's Obituary
Norma Cole, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Norma was born on February 12, 1939, in Maramec, Oklahoma, to Burl Minor and Clara Pearl Wilkey Minor.
On May 25, 1957, Norma married the love of her life, Bennett Cole, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Their union was a testament to enduring love and unwavering commitment. Together, they built a beautiful life, filled with love, laughter, and adventures.
Norma is survived by her devoted husband, Bennett Cole, who stood by her side for over six decades, sharing a lifetime of memories and experiences. She also leaves behind her loving son, Tim Cole, and her daughter, Susan Burgess, along with Susan's husband, Kyle Burgess.
In addition to her immediate family, Norma is also survived by her brother, J.B Minor, and his wife, Joan.
Norma's legacy lives on through her adoring grandchildren: Ky Burgess and his wife, Renee; Roary Cole, Lillian Cole, and Lexington Cole. She took great delight in watching them grow, and her love for them knew no bounds. Norma's grandchildren were a constant source of joy and pride, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Norma also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Karsyn and Jacoby Burgess. She adored these little ones and reveled in the role of a doting great-grandmother.
Norma worked as the school secretary for Eastwood Baptist Elementary School. The students, teachers, and administrators held a special place in her heart. She did everything from filling in for teachers, keeping school records up to date, and even pulling a few teeth.
Norma will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
