Norma Jean Kerby-Collins' Obituary
Norma Jean Kerby-Collins, 77 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her home in Tulsa with her family by her side. She was born on March the 18th of 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents, Charlie Homer "CH" Kerby and Addie Ruth Russell Kerby. On April the 10th of 1992 she took the hand of Daniel Eugene Collins and they were married sharing the next 29 years together.
Norma is survived by her loving husband, Dan E. Collins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three children, Brenda Hisaw and her husband David of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Greg Simmons and his wife Hope of Bixby, Oklahoma and Rachel Dixon and her husband Charles of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one step-son, Kevin Collins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Charles Joseph Hisaw and his wife Amie, Matthew Gleason, Robert Bradley Simmons, Paden Dakota Collins, Kelsey Nicole Hisaw and Makayla Renee Simmons; one great-grandchild, Aubree Jayde Hisaw; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Homer "CH" Kerby and Addie Ruth Russell-Kerby; her brother and sister-in-law, James Kerby and Mary Kerby; a grandson, Brandyn Dean Simmons; and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021 at St. James United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
