Norma Jo Lollar's Obituary
Norma was born July 22, 1948 to Aubrey and Dorothy Hurd in Athens, TX. She graduated from Athens High School in 1966 and then attended Midland College in Midland Texas.
Norma enjoyed a 20+ year career in nursing, caring for others. In her free time, she was an amateur artist winning various awards with her artwork.
Norma was known for her amazing cooking skills that brought the family together and her quick wit. Her nurturing spirit will never be forgotten.
On Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her residence, the Lord decided he needed another Angel. “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
She was proceeded in death by both parents, four brothers and one sister, loving husband Charles E. Lollar and daughter Bridget Jones and son Carlos E. Lollar, Jr.
She leaves her daughter’s Christe D. Ball (Mychael) and Jennifer D. Barnes of Broken Arrow, OK, Rinda Brooks (James) of Oklahoma City, OK, Nikki Johnson Wade of Tyler, TX, Ashley Washington of Dallas, TX. 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
****Our Mother’s Love was special and gave herself so freely to those who shared her life. She loved her children, family and friends with love that only comes from God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our Mother was love and will be dearly missed. God truly blessed us with an Angel.
A memorial service is planned under the direction of the church at Florence Street Baptist Church 200 West Florence Street Broken Arrow, OK 74011 918-455-2118 at 11:00 am January 13, 2022.
