Norma McDaniel's Obituary
Mrs. Norma Louise McDaniel - Young, daughter of the late Lewis and Rose Downing was born on December 27, 1934 in Chelsea, Oklahoma. She was married for 45 years to Lee Roy McDaniel on December 24, 1953 and they were happily married for 45 years until he preceded her in death in 1998. She married Bert Young in 2000.
Her faith , family and friends were the most important thing in her life and she served at the First United Pentecostal Church in Collinsville until her health made her unable to attend. She was a realtor in Owasso for 35 years and loved helping people. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her lifelong friends at the lake. There was never a sweeter spirit and oh, how she loved to laugh! A precious mother, sister, grandma and friend, while our hearts are heavy, heaven is rejoicing at her presence.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy as well as Bert Young, her daughter Beverly LaFavor, sisters Donna Ayers and Ocie Haines.
She is survived by her son Lance McDaniel and wife Louise, her two grandchildren Katie Fuentes and Keith McDaniel, son in law Randy LaFavor.
