Norma Jean Morrow's Obituary
Norma Jean Morrow, 89, passed away on May 14, 2024. She was born on November 3, 1934.
Norma Morrow is survived by her husband Frank Morrow. She has 2 children living-Jeanne Harrison and Terry Perkins. There are 3 grandchildren from Jeanne-Victor, Christian, and Melana. From Terry-Larry Don. She also had a daughter-Sherry who died before her with 2 children Tobie and Rocky.
She received her degree from TJC in 1985 in nursing then went back to get her psych degree for OU in 1991. She then spent her years as a psychiatric nurse serving all ages. She worked at Children's medical center, laureate, and finishing in home health just to name a few. She was a fitness guru in all aspects-physically and mentally. She was an avid runner, weight lighter, and taekwondo-received her black belt at the age of 70. She was also an avid learner. She was always reading up on something new-health, psychiatry, and fitness. She even started to learn Spanish in her 70s. Even in her last years when she couldn't read due to the Alzheimers, she enjoyed listening to stories being read to her.
She was regularly told how feisty and sassy she was. She never minced words, telling it the way it was. But to the end she was a caring mom, wife, and friend to all.
