Norma Joyce Stinnett's Obituary
Norma Joyce Stinnett, age 63, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Norma was born on August 2, 1951 to her parents Hubert Wayne and Rowena Rea Jenkins in Caney, Oklahoma. She received her general education at Caney High School. After her graduation, she began working with Sun Oil Company as a secretary for twenty years. In 1990, Norma transitioned from Sun Oil Company to Blue Cross Blue Shield where she worked until retirement. On December 30, 1978, Norma married Donald Earl Stinnett, Jr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a proud member of the Dalton Hill Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma for many years. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Rea Jenkins, and brother-in-law Larry Michael O’Brien, Jr. Norma is survived by her spouse, Donald Earl Stinnett, Jr., her son Donald Earl Stinnett, III (spouse Christal), and their daughters Amelia, Sarah, and Anna, her son Daniel Clinton Stinnett (spouse Tamara), and their daughter Madelyn, her sister Sue Parham (spouse Paul), her sister Lois O’Brien, her brother Jerry Wayne Jenkins (spouse Teresa), her brother Justin Jenkins (spouse Rebecca), and numerous nieces and nephews. Her big smile and love of bears will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Services are to be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 12 pm – 8 pm with the family to greet friends from 6 pm – 8pm.
