Norman Lee Nixon, 80, lifelong resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with family by his side. He was born January 8, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents, Russell Nixon and Willa Donavan Nixon.Norman was a life long member of First Baptist Church Tulsa and was a member of the church choir for over 60 years.Norman is survived by his loving wife, Riletta Nixon of the home; daughter, Cyndi Nixon Kernan and husband Mike of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Ava James of Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughter Tammy Huitt of Oktaha, Oklahoma; sister, Colleen Bethell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Harold Nixon of Bixby, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Rob Huitt, Riley Huitt, Eli Huitt, Stavery James, and Staden James; and sister-in-law, Jean Nixon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Willa Nixon; first wife, Martha Elaine Nixon; brother, Russell Nixon; and sister-in-law, Patricia Nixon.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wana Archer officiating.
