Ocella Joyce Weigant's Obituary
Ocella Joyce Weigant, a beloved housewife known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family, passed away on August 29, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August 25, 1941, in Paris, Arkansas, to Fred and Vivian Marie (Nance) Horne.
Joyce is survived by her son, Paul Weigant, and his wife Mena; her daughter-in-law, Marla Weigant; her sister, Barbara Ann Poulson; her brother, William Fred Horne; her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, Kevin, Jocelyn, and Dylan; six adoring great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who were touched by her love and care.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Oliver Weigant, and her dear son, John Alan Weigant. She also joins her parents, Fred and Marie Horne, and her brother, Jimmy Ray Horne, in eternal rest.
Joyce's gentle spirit and nurturing nature will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her home was a haven of comfort and love, where she dedicated herself to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for her family.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 5th, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A heartfelt funeral service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 6th, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
