I am Argil Hawkins' older daughter and Fannie Payne Hawkins' grandaughter. I last saw Octavia at Jeweldine's 90th birthday party. I would have never guessed Octavia was near 90 years old. She sat straight with a pleasant smile as always. As a child I remember when she visited my grandparents with Carl and his parents. She always wore high healed shoes and looked sophisticated. I always remember that Octavia and Carl made the effort to attend my mother's 80th birthday party in Jay, OK. I'll forever be grateful for their attendance. Carl, I know you are really missing your wife. I also know that you will see her again because she believed Jesus was God who died for her and forgave her. I know Octavia had compassion for others like Jesus. As a small child i remember her tears at Carl's brother's funeral. I will always do my best to watch after Uncle Carl and do anything I can do to help him in any way.Aunt Octavia and Uncle Carl will always be the most special people in my mind. They always had an excellent influence on me all my life as true Christians.Life will not be the same without Aunt Octavia, but I do look forward to seeing her once again in our Eternal Heavenly Home.My prayers are with Uncle Carl and families during their time of grief.Love, Kenney Setser

My prayers and love are for Uncle Carl, Eddie, Nancy and families.Aunt Octavia was one of the sweetest, kind and considerate ladies on earth. She is so precious and loved by all.Aunt Octavia was a shining example of who, what and how a true Christian should live. She loved the Lord and it was evident to anyone who had the privilege to know her. Aunt Octavia was a wonderful Aunt who not only opened her home up to me many times as a child but also welcomed me and my family many times throughout the years.
