Olga McKenzie's Obituary
Olga McKenzie died Saturday, July 17, 2010. She was born January 23, 1920 in Canada and moved to the United States when she was three years old. She spent her youth being very involved in church and playing sports. During WWII she played for a professional women's baseball team called the Buena Park Lynx. She later married the love of her life Carl O. McKenzie. The two were married for over 50 years until his death in 1997. Olga was a loving woman who dedicated her life to serving the Lord and sharing His love with others. She was an active member of Christian Women's Club and spoke at various functions. In addition to being a loving wife, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a bright spirit and a beautiful heart. She always offered a helping hand and shared her joy with everyone she met. Olga will be truly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Survived By: her daughter Diane Haspell and her grandchildren Jennifer Burton, Carl McKenzie, J.C. Haspell, and Calynn Haspell survive her. Also survived by two great-grandchildren Connor and Jaxon Burton. Preceded in death by her husband Carl O. McKenzie and her son David G. McKenzie.
