Omar Flores' Obituary
Omar Flores was born on October 27th, 1988 in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico to his mother Norma Flores. He moved to the United States at the age of 1, Omar grew up under the care of his loving grandmother, Vicky Diaz (Mami Vicky) in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he also lived out the rest of his life. Although an only child to Norma, Omar lived and was raised in a household full of cousins that were more like siblings. Omar spent a lot of time with his family and grew passionate about many things, one of which was soccer, his favorite sport. He played soccer for many years as a student in Cleveland Middle School and Rogers High School. Omar competed in many games and tournaments and was extremely talented on the soccer field. As time went on Omar met a young lady, Nikeshia Jackson in the year 2000. Together they started a family and parented four beautiful children. Omar valued family and placed it as a number one priority. He continued to further his education and became a welder while being a great father to his children. He loved to teach his sons to play basketball and football. He also loved taking his daughter’s to play at the park, he called them “my little princesses”. With his personality Omar created a memory where ever he went because he was a young man with great qualities. He was a loving, protective, brave, giving, strong-willed and determined. Through his actions Omar taught different things but one thing he would say and made sure everyone understood is “Family is all you got”. Omar Flores is survived by Norma Flores (Mother), four children: Isaac age 12, Noel age 8, Angelina age 6, and Mariah Flores age 5, He will also be missed by his extended family of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. “It seems as if our time together was so sudden because you’re no longer here, but the memories I carry of you in my heart will last forever. I’ll think of you often and my love for you will never cease.
