Oneita Marie Elam's Obituary
Oneita Marie Elam, 84, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, passed away on February 21, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1940, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Ernest Lee Davis and Belba Arline Davis (Nix).
On November 6, 1959, Oneita married Harold Frank Elam in Tulsa. Together, they raised three boys and a daughter. She was a devoted wife and mother who trusted her family to enjoy life, whether it was fishing trips or time spent outdoors. She loved bowling and often went on weekend trips with her friends.
Oneita ran the family business and remained involved in it until just a few weeks before her passing. She was a great cook, had a good sense of humor, and cared deeply for her family. She enjoyed watching her kids play sports and was especially proud of her grandson, James Elam, and his professional fishing career.
She is survived by her sons, James Elam and Frank Elam, along with his wife, Terra Elam, and her cherished grandchildren James Elam and Eric Elam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Frank Elam; her parents; her daughter, Kimberly Sue Elam; her son, Rex Lee Elam; and her sisters, Juanita Mae Morton and Lavon Sue Harris.
Oneita will be remembered for her dedication to her family and the love she shared with those around her.
