Opal Carr's Obituary
Opal Carr, age 87, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born on September 23, 1938, in Delaware, Arkansas to Lamar and Ruby Hickerson.
Opal was a woman who found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved spending time working in her yard, taking pride in the beauty she created around her home. She also had a special place in her heart for her dogs, who brought her constant companionship and happiness.
Opal enjoyed going shopping and never passed up the chance to enjoy good Mexican food, one of her absolute favorites. Above all else, she had a deep love for babies. Nothing brought her more happiness than seeing a baby and getting the chance to hold and cuddle them. Her gentle spirit and warm heart made those moments especially meaningful to her and to those around her.
Opal is preceded in death by her parents Lamar and Ruby Hickerson.
Opal is survived by her daughter Debra Borland and husband Rick, daughter Vickie Reichardt and husband Rolf, daughter Robin Lamberson and husband Rick, brother Jerry, sister Ina, sister Martha, grandchildren Courtney Henderson, Chad Maxey, Dustin Davis, John Burris Jr, Olivia Griffith, and step grandsonsRandy and Ryan Reichardt. (10) great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones. She will be missed so much.
