Madama Opal Fuller, 86 of Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in a Tulsa hospital. On a farm southeast of Allendale, Missouri, October 10th, 1933, a baby girl was born to James (Jim) and Ruby H Read Obituary
Opal, was a “Special Lady”. She was kind, thoughtful, giving, funny, stood up for her convictions, and loved God. She and I would talk about what was going on in politics, what needed to be changed and what or “who” we needed to pray for. She and I both liked to put stickers on our cards. We would send each other cards and share where we got them. I sent one that had a barn and farm animals all over it. She called me and was laughing and told me that it fit them perfectly. She thought it was so funny. So we had a good laugh about it. I felt like we were family, I loved her and I will miss her. But I will see her again!! ♥️

Opal and Dick were good friends at First Assembly of God Church many many years ago. I remember her zeal for the Lord then. We always enjoyed seeing them at church reunions. Such a sweet lady.
I have only great memories of visiting “Dick and Opal”. Too many to share here but they all come rushing back at the news of Opals passing. You were so good to us. Life began so humbly for her near our home at the “Red Barn” farm and took her so far. Blessed! An example to us of faith, marriage, success and an overall positive spirit. Thank you. Will always remember Aunt Opals laugh! Condolences to Dick, Diane, Brent, Greg and their families.
