Oran Donald Heffernan's Obituary
Oran D. Heffernan went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2015. Oran was born to Alvin and Opal Heffernan on May 9, 1929 in Abilene, Texas. After graduating from high school Oran joined the Marines and proudly served his country. After the military Oran went to work for Rockwell International and retired as a Maintenance Supervisor in 1989 after 30+ years of work. When Oran wasn’t working he loved spending time with his family and he loved watching Old Western Movies; especially the John Wayne movies. Oran will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Oran is survived by his wife Ada Lee Heffernan; children, Pamela J. Bennett of Arlington, TX; Marylin Sims of Grand Prairie, TX; Kathy Ralston of Tulsa, OK; Caroline Royske of Tulsa, OK; Demorris Hash of Garland, TX; Donna Goins of Tulsa, OK; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home ChapelIn lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Margaret Hudson Program for unwed mothers @home-v16 or mail donation to: 751 W.
