Orville Cavins' Obituary
Orville Cavins was born on August 26, 1924 and passed away on March 4, 2016. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Webster High School. He served in The Army Air Corps during WWII as a B-17 tail gunner in Europe. He was Plant Superintendent at Oklahoma Fixture Company from 1955-1971. After leaving OFC he built homes in Owasso and Tulsa area. He also owned companies that manufactured retail department store fixtures until 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister-in-law, sister and 2 wives. He is survived by a son, daughter-in-law, daughter, son-in-law, 3 grandchildren, 4 treat-grandchildren and many nieces. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 pm., Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at the Floral Hven Visitation Suites, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at the Floral Haven Heritage Mausoleum Chapel, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Orville Cavins’ name and honor to Clarehouse, Tulsa, Oklahoma or The Salvation Army.
