Pamela Sue Clark's Obituary
Pamela Sue (Harris) Clark died peacefully at home on January 3, 2015, in Tulsa, OK at the age of 61. Pamela is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Clark; children, Dedra Rene’ Galvez, Tammy Annette Templeton, Jamie Candida Brown and husband Drew, Kendal Frayer and husband David, Aaron Wayne Clark, and Buddy Wayne Clark (canine child); grandkids, Mariah Lofton, Gage Templeton, Adysun Joe Thomas, DeShaun Jones, Jordan Martinez, Evyn Martinez, Destiny Hitchcox, Chloe Croman, and London Frayer; siblings, Candice “Candy” Ortega and Jeff Lee Harris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by both parents, Robert Leon Harris and Paula Jean Harris; siblings Glen L. Harris and Bobby Gene Harris. Pamela was born on January 22, 1953, in Enid, OK to Robert Leon Harris and Paula Jean Harris. She married Larry Clark, her sweetheart of 5 years, in 1993. Over 25 years the couple lived in Muskogee and Tulsa. Her children remember her as a driven and courageous single mother for most of their lives. Pamela retired from Sears, where she had become an expert of appliances. Pamela was a generous and dedicated individual who loved people and was passionate about changing the world. She picketed for the right to have inappropriate magazines removed from the reach of children. She was an active and dedicated volunteer for The Red Cross. She never wavered on her faith; she prayed up until her very last conversation. She left this world with one last prayer with her sister. A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday January 7, 2015, @ 11:00 am at Lifepoint Church, 2200 S 32nd St. Muskogee, OK 74401 with a reception to follow @ 2:30 pm at Floral Haven Family Center 6500 S. 129th E Ave. Broken Arrow, Ok 74012. Brother Jack Manley will be officiating the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pamela’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Women in Safe Home at 514 W Martin Luther King St, Muskogee, Ok 74401. The family would like to thank St. Francis Oncology 7 West for their care and dedication. This nursing staff made a long and unbearable situation the easiest they could.
