Pamela Michelle Ellen Hibbs' Obituary
Pamela Michelle Ellen Hibbs took her own life on the 1st of July 2019 in Broken Arrow, after a lifetime of fighting mental illness including anxiety and major depression.Michelle was born at Fort Carson, Colorado on the 3rd of August 1982 to Harry Paul Burr of Anklam, East Germany and his wife, Mary Beth Cargo of Longview, Texas.Michelle’s talents were innumerable. She was a writer, and besides her stories and poetry, she has ghost written many papers and articles. She never met a musical instrument that she could not coax into playing beautifully for her including the piano, french horn, baritone, recorder, flute and most recently, the violin. She has passed this talent on to her children. Her heart, her heart was as big as the Colorado outdoors, in which she was raised and she loved so much. She loved people, but was terrified of them. Her latest job was at Lowe’s, where she worked in Customer Service. She called to tell her momma how much she loved her job and how good she was at it. “You’re kidding me, Michelle? Those are angry people!” Nope, she was very happy at Lowe’s. Her love and affinity for animals was legendary but especially cats. If she lived, she would have been the crazy cat lady down the block. Her greatest love were her children, Phoebe, Duncan, William and Cora. Prior to passing on to the Summerland, she messaged them all to look for her in the stars. She will be the brightest one there. We will do our best to help them understand. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Clifford and Heidi Burr, who both died of SIDS.She leaves behind her loving children, Phoebe, Duncan, William and Cora; ex-husband, Gabriel Hibbs and his family, Richard, Susan, Micah, Rebecca and Leah. Her absolutely beloved friend, who stood by her side and kept her alive for many many years, Jamie Lane. Many other friends, both known and unknown. Her parents, Harry Paul Burr and wife, Lisa Burr, Beth Synder and husband, John Synder, Jr.; her beloved brother, David Burr, who will take her ashes to the Colorado Mountains and plant a tree with her. And about a million other family members. She will live in our hearts and souls to be loved and cherished until the end of our days. Michelle Hibbs, this beautiful, lost spirit, who has finally found Peace. The family would like to thank the Broken Arrow Police Department, especially Det. Bill Payne, Det. Back and Det. Russell, trying to help our Michelle work through this extreme emotioanl crisis. We know they did their very best and they too, will hold a special place in our hearts.BLESSED BE…..Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
