Patricia Ann Duff's Obituary
Patricia Ann (Welch) Duff, 79, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 16, 2013 at 9:04 a.m. at Saint Francis Hospital. 'Pat' was born in Columbus, Ohio. She was married to Walter W. Duff for 49 years before his passing in 1999. She was the consummate den mother, PTA mom, 4-H leader, Sunday School teacher, Luther League leader and President of the Advent Lutheran Church Women. She was a full-time wife and Mother, who also worked for a period of time at the Spartan School of Aeronautics and even had a brief career as a roller derby skater. She was an active member of the Advent Lutheran Church and embraced that community as her extended family. Pastor Timothy Dearhamer referred to Pat and Walt as models of hospitality. She is survived by: daughter, Shelia L. (Duff ) Hohm- ann and sons, S.K. Duff and spouse, Chuck Miley; grandchildren, Dana Hendrickson, Jennifer Thompson, Luke Thompson, and Allison Juhasz; extended family, Jennifer Miley, Chris Greer, Phillip Miley and Emi Savacool; as well as great-grandchildren, McKenna, Rheanna, Payson and Charlie; brother, James Welch and chosen sisters, Becky Browning, Jean Dearhamer, and Kay Ritter; friend/caregiver, Bart Mantooth; and very dear friends, Dave, Tim and Beth, Todd, Melissa, and Macie and Jeff. In addition to her already departed husband, Walter Wesley Duff, she had two deceased children: Deborah Lynn and Michael Patrick. A celebration of her life will be held in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at 12:30 PM 918-252-2518, located at 6500 S. 129th East Ave. Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
