Patricia "Pat" Ann Etzkorn's Obituary
Our family is sad to announce the passing of Patricia Ann Etzkorn, 84 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Pat was born July 31st, 1939 and died peacefully at home on the 26th day of June, 2024. They say you can’t have it all but Pat was successful in all the things that she pursued in her life. Pat was married upon graduation from high school and wasted no time starting her family and careers; the youngest of their three children was born when Pat was just 20. Despite there being no time for formal college education, Pat put her fine intellect to work and became a highly successful businesswoman in her own right as an H&R Block franchisee of multiple locations. She possessed a particular skill in financial organization and analysis. She then applied those skills and energy to building a real estate acquisition and management business with her husband, which she managed late into her life, all while maintaining her H&R Block franchises. However, of all her many pursuits her most cherished life achievements were that of wife, mother, and grandmother. Pat’s most prized life experiences were traveling with her late loving husband, family get togethers at their backyard pool surrounded by her 3 sons and their families, and telling all her grandchildren about all of her countless adventures and youthful memories.
She is survived by her sons James and Dennis, her grandchildren Angela, Kendall, Jamie, Derek, Tyler, and Gavin, and her great grandchildren Charles, Brian, and Dutton, and her daughter-in-laws Jennifer and Karen. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Etzkorn Sr., her son Robert B. Etzkorn Jr., and her grandson Robert Anthony Etzkorn.
While she is gone from this earth the retelling of her stories, the memory of her beautiful smile, her sharp intellect, and the love she leaves with us all will keep her alive in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
