Patricia Lynn Etzkorn's Obituary
Patricia Lynn Etzkorn of Richmond, Illinois walked peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 19, 2020. Patricia, affectionately named Patty, was born February 12, 1953 in Lake Wakegan, Illinois to the proud parents Emma Elizabeth Lancaster Krumpen and Arthur George Krumpen and brothers John, William, and Van. She attended Richmond Burton High School, graduating in 1971. Patty married Timothy E. Etzkorn on November 4, 1972. Patty obtained an Associates of Science and Nursing in 1978 from Kaskaskia College in Centralia, IL.
Patricia and Timothy moved their family to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1979 which became their home for the remainder of their lives. There they raised their 3 children, Brendan, Amber, and Megan. Throughout their lives their children and grandchildren were priorities, and they took much pride in each of their accomplishments. Patty’s laugh was loved by many and her easy going and accepting personality was often refuge for many of her friends and family members.
Patricia lived a life serving and loving her patients. It was her gift and her calling both in dedication and talent. Patty worked as a Registered Nurse for 42 years; she loved being a nurse and loved her patients. The first half of her career focused on Women’s Health with experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care, OBGYN, and Fertility. The last 20 years focused on Home Health nursing.
Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family, planning her annual Family Christmas party, and visiting Branson.
Patty was a dedicated wife, mother, and Nana.
Patricia is predeceased by her husband Timothy E. Etzkorn, infant daughter Trina Lynn Etzkorn, parents, and brother William H. Krumpen. She is survived by her three children: Brendan (Heather) Etzkorn of Moore, OK; Amber (Steve) Burke of Broken Arrow, OK; and Megan Cullen of Tulsa, OK. Patty leaves behind grandchildren Paxton, Preslee, Blake, Gentry, Brady, Peyton, Mayzie, Audrey, Beckett, Tate and great grandson Rowan. She is also survived by her two brothers John Krumpen and Van Krumpen as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will take place at Floral Haven, 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow Ok. Funeral Visitation will be held Sunday 12/27 from 1:00pm-5:00pm and Grave Site Service will take place Monday 12/28 at 3:00PM. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when hugs and laughter may abound.
