Patricia Fowler's Obituary
Patricia Diane Jones Fowler, born August 18th 1935 to Alf C. and Ruby Jones. Departed this world the morning of Friday, June 7, 2024.
Patricia was a close confidante of her mother early in life. Although early youth found her in Shawnee, OK, by age 8 the family had relocated to San Francisco, CA where her Dad was serving actively during WWII. The war ended and the family returned to Oklahoma. Ruby and Alf divorced, and later Ruby met and married Lester Snyder. Their family grew to twice its size and even gained another, Danny Snyder.
Patricia now is in Sapulpa, OK and meeting the love of her life, Billy "Brownie" Fowler much to the chagrin of her mother and others. Theirs was a love that surely endured as they were married 3 times - to one another. Patricia was actively present throughout the lives of her children during their school, church, sports, ski trips, teen council, and pep club activities.
In 1974 Patricia began a phase of life, as a single young woman. She loved laying poolside, music (Elvis) and dancing. She enjoyed travelling to beaches, live performances (Garth Brooks, Tina Turner... and owning her own life while following the word of God.
After 58 years as the "bookkeeper" at the Oaks Country Club, she was invited to resign her position, as the Oaks was headed in a different direction. She entered "retirement" hesitantly and with integrity. Still shopping, long lunches, trips to Dallas to visit her son, and then to Malibu and Laguna Beach. She stayed busy and then she began to suffer from COPD.
Even so, Patricia lived independently until 3 weeks ago.
Preceding her in death were here beloved father Alf Calvin "Jabo" Jones (1974) mother Ruby Jones Snyder (2004) brother Randall Jones (1976) brother Danny Snyder (2022) grandparents Earnest and Pearl Harmon, grandparents Alice and Otto Jones, aunt Mollie Belle Austin
Patricia leaves behind her beloved brother Ernie Jones (Diana) and Phillip, Junior, and George Snyder.
Her children Billy Bruce Fowler (Ruth), Lauren (John, Olivia and Charles), Annelise (Madeleine and Haley) and Jordan, LaDonna Sue Fowler Richardson-Brauchle (David), Farrah A. Roth (Sean), Parker (Tiger and River), Savannah (Legend and Fortune) and Baker, Patricia A. Brauchle, Amelia "Mia" B. and Emery Belle Lantz
Her precious nieces and nephews, Shawna (Keith) Mattison, Tony Jones, Holly Jones the Jones', Shawn (Lori), Biff (Andrea and Rodney (Alexandria) and great nieces and great nephews.
Her special friends Janiece Howe and Esther Wakefield and her trusted and loved Maltese, Brutus.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 from 5-7 PM
Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
Interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Garden of Last Supper
