Patti Ann Hammack's Obituary
Patricia Ann Hammack, affectionately known as Patti, departed from this world on May 17, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. She was born on March 9, 1963, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Marvin Clifford Linson and Diane Ray (Cook) Snethen.
Patti's greatest joy in life was her family, and her love for them knew no bounds. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved grandchildren, who brought immense happiness and laughter into her life. Patti's devotion to her family was unwavering and left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving mother, Diane Snethen, who provided her with endless love and support throughout her life. Patti shared a deep and enduring bond with her husband, Kelly Hammack, as they navigated life's joys and challenges together. Their love was a beacon of strength.
Patti leaves behind three daughters, Amanda Holden and her husband, Doug, Melissa Hill and her husband, Charles, and Katie Swar and her husband, Ramy. She nurtured and guided her daughters, instilling in them the values of compassion, resilience, and kindness. Her unwavering support and encouragement allowed them to flourish into the remarkable women they are today. Her grandchildren, Sawyer and Harper Holden, Malik, and Zayd Swar, Nate Roberts, and Emma Lee, Miles, and Eli Hill held a special place in her heart. Patti adored spending time with them, creating cherished memories, and showering them with love. She was a doting grandmother who always had a warm embrace and a kind word for each of her grandchildren. Patti's memory will be forever treasured by her brother, Mark Linson, and his wife, Beth, who stood by her side throughout her journey. Mark and Beth's children, Morgan and Derrick, brought joy and laughter to Patti's life, creating a special bond that transcended time.
She was preceded in passing by her beloved father, Marvin Linson, her dear brother, Jeff Linson, her step-father, Bert Snethen, and her grandson, Carson Holden.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 3:00 pm, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for family and friends to honor Patti's life and share in the cherished memories she leaves behind.
