Patricia Helen Davidson's Obituary
Patricia “Tricia” Helen Scott-Davidson, 70, died February 8, 2017 at a Tulsa hospital after a short illness.Tricia was born on March 30, 1946 in Milford, Connecticut. She was the second child of ten children. She and her family moved to Arlington, Texas in 1951. Because her father, Charles Scott worked as a representative for the United Auto Workers, the Scott family moved several times in the Midwest part of the US during Tricia’s childhood. This included Wichita, Kansas, St. Louis, Missouri, back to Texas and Wichita, and finally ending up in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Tricia graduated from North High School, Wichita Kansas in 1964. At age 20, she met and married the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Davidson. They were blessed with their first child, Eric while living in Oklahoma. In 1976, Tricia and Jerry moved from Tulsa to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They had their second son, Michael while there. The family soon moved to Benicia, California, just north of San Francisco where Jerry worked for Chevron. In 2005, Jerry and Tricia decided to retire and moved back to Oklahoma where they settled in Inola.Tricia, a wonderful, kind and selfless woman, volunteered her last years in and around the Inola area as a volunteer at the Inola Senior Center nearly every week. She also was an avid “bunco” player with numerous friends. Tricia also became the matriarch of the Scott family after both of her parents had passed away. She was the family “go-to” person with kind words of advice and encouragement, and a never-tiring listening ear.Tricia Davidson is survived by her two sons, Eric of Inola and Michael (Jennifer) of Saugus, California along with her eight surviving siblings – Share Bannister, Charles Scott (Sharon), Bruce-Paul Scott (Anna), Tom Scott, Rita Scott, Michael Scott, Martha Scott and John Scott. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends including her lifelong friend, Rosie Wheeler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry and youngest sibling, Nancy Scott Engler (Pete).A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Community Room at 11:00am at the Inola Senior Center at address 205 S Broadway, Inola, OK 74036.Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations are sent to the Inola Senior Center.
