Patricia Ann Judkins' Obituary
Patricia Ann (née Williams) Judkins was born April 26, 1945 in Poteau, Oklahoma, preceded in death by her parents Mildred Littleton and Arthur Williams and sister, Sharon Bryant of Tulsa. Pat passed on February 14, 2020 at 74. She is survived by her sweetheart and husband Miles Judkins, two daughters Ann and Joi Judkins and a grandson William Judkins all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her grandson was the greatest joy of her life, she took such pleasure in taking care of her boy. She was a loving wife of 52 years to Miles, who always said it was love at first sight for him, and devoted mother to her daughters raising them in DavIs, Oklahoma. In 1993 she and Miles became small business owners opening their home for a bed and breakfast which she enjoyed so much. In 2001, the pull to be close to her children prompted them to sell their home and move to Tulsa where she lived the remaining years of her life. She enjoyed gardening, her dogs and was a voracious reader. She had several sayings that we use to this day and it will forever bring a smile to her daughters: “ Don’t leave home without your lips” referring to lipstick. She often quoted Shakespeare to her youngest “Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive”. Family time was a top priority. We took a vacation every summer, she even cleared the ocean in Galveston, Texas with her yells of “Shark!” until the lifeguard informed her the fins were actually porpoise. She always had dinner ready and made sure we ate together so we could discuss our day and world events. She made sure her children and grandson knew the importance of education, love and empathy. She and her husband raised their daughters on strong Methodist values and church every Sunday was mandatory. She was unselfish in her love for her family and a true friend to all who knew her. Funeral arrangements in Spencer, Oklahoma to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider donating to a charity Pat often gave to John 3:16 Mission and Meals on Wheels.
