Patricia Ann Kilgore's Obituary
Patricia Ann (Mitchell) Kilgore was born in Tulsa, OK on May 18, 1927. She departed this world peacefully in her sleep, the morning of January 4th with family members by her side. Patsy attended school at Tulsa Central High School where she met the love of her life Larry Kilgore. Together they attended Oklahoma A&M College (OSU). They married September 6, 1947, and were later blessed with three beautiful daughters. As parents they gave their children the greatest gift in life, a wonderful childhood. Patsy touched the lives of many throughout her life. With her insatiable curiosity she could make a friend anywhere. While staying at home to raise her children she was also an active member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and many organizations helping children in the Tulsa community. Patsy is survived by, three daughters Judy (Don) Priebe, Kathleen (Rev. Robert) McElwaine, Laura Jean Faith; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grand children and a multitude of extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Kilgore, her parents Susan Bea Mitchell and David N. Mitchell, sisters; Jo (Jack) Stoffer, Jean (Bud) Poulton, Sue Mitchell, and brother David Mitchell, sister-in-law Helen (Ed) Skinner, and son in-law Tom Faith and her best friend, Betty Oliver. A memorial service celebrating Patsy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 10th, at University Village. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be sent to: Linnaeus Teaching Garden c/o Tulsa Garden Center, Attention: Toni Alley, 2435 S Peoria, Tulsa, OK 74135 or University Village Trust, 8555 South Lewis, Tulsa, OK 74137. The family would like to send their thanks to the employees of University Village for the wonderful care given to Larry and Patsy during their time at University Village.
