Patricia McGaha's Obituary
Patricia McGaha, 72 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, October 29, 2018 in a Tulsa hospital with family by her side. She was born June 15, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma a daughter of Hubert James Taylor, Sr. and Lillian Eva Harris Taylor. Patricia married Chuck McGaha on February 14, 1980 in Skiatook, Oklahoma and they were currently residing in Broken Arrow.Pat loved the holidays, especially Christmas. She went all out in decorating both inside and outside. After moving back from Texas, whenever there was an occasion to have a gathering or party, she insisted on hosting it or heading it up. One of her favorite hobbies was shopping. She loved shopping for not only gifts, but for antiques to resale. She would shop to just go out shopping. Grocery shopping could take hours, she loved to look and touch everything. Her other favorite thing to do was baking. She would bake for any occasion, birthdays, holidays, school functions or just because she thought someone would enjoy some cookies.Pat was always the first one to volunteer if someone needed help. If she knew of a need she would be there whether it be babysitting, errands, book fairs at the school or school carnivals and parties. You could find her there with a smile. Pat was a devoted and loving wife, mom, sister, mimi, and friend. She leaves a void that no one will be able to fill.Pat is survived by her husband of 38 years, Chuck McGaha of the home; one daughter, Shawn Wolters and husband Mark of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one son, Shane Tuell and wife Gina of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one sister Carol Vandiver and husband Larry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one brother, Jimmy Taylor and wife Joanne of Spring, Texas; six grandchildren, Taylor Wolters, Jessie Wolters, Chase Wolters, Parker Wolters, Brycen Tuell and Reece Tuell; ten nieces and nephews; eighteen great-nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nancy Hester.Visitation is set for Friday, November 2, 2018 from 4-8pm at Floral Haven Funeral home with services at 2pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Floral Haven’s Rose Chapel and burial will follow at Floral Haven memorial Gardens, Garden of the Last Supper.
