Patricia G. Michael's Obituary
Patricia G. Michael passed from this life on September 8, 2022.
She was born January 14, 1940 in a little town called Krebs, Oklahoma, now nicknamed “Little Italy”. Her parents were James Dewey and Nadine Octavy (Manning) Woodlee.
She is survived by (1) brother, Donald Woodlee and his wife Nelda, and (1) sister, Ann Atchley. She was especially close to two of her nieces, Robin Barrett and Cheryl Atchley, and a nephew Eric Atchley, along with many other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In 1959 Patricia married Soncha Bellis and later divorced. She started her career at First National Bank Tulsa and worked her way up the ranks to become Assistant Vice President of Utica National Bank. Later she met Albert Len Michael, a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Airforce and they married in 1986. She and her best friend Mary Dennis (Winton) both retired from their banking careers and in 1998 they started a business together. They called it Once Again Fashionable Resale specializing in quality women’s fashion, home décor and more. After their business closed, they continued to be the best of friends, enjoying each others company, weekly lunch out & antique/flea market shopping, etc. Mary was a true and loyal friend to the end.
Patricia never had children of her own but adored her three grandchildren that two of her step-daughters, Linda Poole and Karen Villano gave her. She loved seeing them whenever possible and she was so proud to be their “Gran”.
She loved her dog Maggie just like a child. She washed her little face every morning and put a bow in her hair to keep the hair out of her eyes. They often said this is Maggie’s house, she just let’s us live here.
Patricia loved to read. She was a James Patterson fan. She also enjoyed dinner and dancing and spending time with friends and family. She loved getting together with family for the holidays. Christmas was her favorite. Those who knew Patricia best knew that she was a kind, loving person of such class, beautiful in every way with the most positive attitude about life. She was an absolute pleasure to be around.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Len Michael, her parents; James Dewey and Nadine Octavy Woodlee, (3) sisters; Jean Eaton, Gloria Atkins, and Helen Waskom along with (2) brothers, James and Floyd Woodlee.
