Patricia Ann Richards' Obituary
Patricia Ann Richards (Kerr) walked into the arms of Jesus on August 11th 2023, she was surrounded in love by her son and daughter in law as she left her earthly body and gained her angel's wings. She is survived by her son Robby Bowman, and his wife Heather, and granddaughters Rebekah Bowman and Taylor Bowman, her daughter Cynthia Bowman her grandson Asher Reinhard, and granddaughter Jayden Sanders, her sister Kathy Alexander and her husband Roy, her brother Kenny Kerr and nephew Mark Kerr, her extended family at Aspen Creek Early Childhood Center and numerous friends and relatives.
Ms. Pat, as she was known by many, was born on February 21st 1954 to Raymond and Joy Wynell Kerr in Denison, Texas. Ms. Pat worked at Trailblazer in Denison Texas for many years and was a devoted member of The First Presbyterian Church in Denison. After leaving her job in Texas Ms. Pat moved to Broken Arrow, OK where she became a Pre K Teachers Assistant at Aspen Creek Early Childhood Center in Broken Arrow Public Schools. She LOVED her job so much and all of the students and people that she worked with, and they loved her right back. Ms. Pat had several loves in her life, Diet Cokes from McDonalds, pool time, Young and the Restless, Candy Crush, her Dallas Cowboys- especially Emmitt Smith, John Wayne “The Duke”, and of course her Oklahoma Sooners.
Ms. Pat, or as we called her Mom/Mimi loved her family fiercely and was a friend to everyone who came into contact with her, those friends always became more like family. Mom always had a smile on her face and a funny story to share. She didn’t want anyone to be sad about her passing but to celebrate her life and the fact that she is now living it up in Heaven with her Lord and Savior. The best way we can honor mom is to live like she did for the Lord and never take a moment for granted
