Patricia "Patty" Louise Sellers' Obituary
Our beloved, Patricia “Patty” Louise Sellers, age 59, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer. Patty was born on June 3, 1965, in Norwalk, California, to Gene and Florene Hinsley. Patty was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her.
Patty married the love of her life, Theodore “Theo” Sellers, on March 12, 2011, at the Bixby Christian Church in Bixby, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and quiet moments—often shared with her beloved cat, Rolo, by her side.
She is survived by her loving husband Theo Sellers, son Michael Robert “Rob” Wesley, son James Wesley, one brother, Gene Edward Hindsley, Jr. and two sisters, Martha Kay Bryant and Windy Ann Huntzinger. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Thomas Hindsley.
Patty was known for her unwavering work ethic, her generous spirit, and her heart that made room for everyone and everything. She had a passion for the simple joys in life—walking in the park, coloring in adult coloring books, and giving her time and love to others. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a cherished member of First Christian Church of Tulsa where she found comfort and strength in her faith.
Patty touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. She will be remembered for her loving nature, her giving heart, and the warmth she brought into every room.
A Memorial Service for Patty will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church of Tulsa, 913 S. Boulder Ave., Tulsa, OK.
